Our mission is to preserve and empower quality
Belarusian journalism
Founded in 2011, Press Club Belarus is a Warsaw-based non-profit and non-partisan organisation working with Belarusian and international journalists, media outlets, and expert communities.
Cutting costs and resilience building
Press Club Belarus applies a holistic approach, offering comprehensive solutions to the challenges faced by Belarusian independent media abroad.
Media Port Belarus serves as a safe physical hub for journalists and content creators, while Wisla Vision Studio provides a professional production space for video journalists. Both facilities are based in Warsaw.

These spaces serve as platforms for coordination and collaboration, filming and content production, professional exchange, and community building.

TechHub and Media Analytical Lab, deliver technological and analytical support to independent media, helping them counteract censorship, navigate digital transformation, build stronger audience engagement, enhance sustainability, and adopt new technologies and tools.
Professional Development & Training
Press Club Belarus invests in the professional growth of media specialists through long-term educational initiatives.
Saturday Journalism School – practice-oriented, long-term training for young media professionals tailored to newsroom needs;
SALT– a platform providing access to international expertise in journalism and media management.
Research & Media Monitoring
Another key focus area is research and analysis of the Belarusian information environment through our Media IQ project, which uses AI agents to:
- monitor compliance with journalistic standards;
- make content analysis;
- expose propaganda narratives originating in Belarus and Russia;
- promote critical thinking among audiences.
International Advocacy
Beyond its work within the media community, Press Club Belarus advances international advocacy efforts, representing Belarusian independent media on global platforms, elevating their voices among policymakers, donors, and partners, and fostering broader international awareness and support for the sector.
